We provide FREE Home Security Assessments (HSA). Find out more below to register your interest. Once an assessment is scheduled, one of our officers will attend your property and provide advice and recommendations to improve your security and overall safety.

Book a home security assessment

A free home security assessment can be booked for you if you would like recommendations on how to improve your home security. This assessment is based upon CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles and looks at things like doors, windows, your home perimeter, external factors such as street lighting and proximity to parks/schools, and your personal safety habits. A written report containing recommendations for security improvements and personal safety habits is provided to you. Please note this program is designed to provide education. Where someone is particularly vulnerable, they may be eligible for financial assistance towards implementing security improvements.

A Home Security Assessment may occur after you have experienced an unlawful entry, or if you are just concerned about feeling safer in your home.

Take the online self-assessment

In 2019 almost 30% of home break-ins in the NT occurred through an unlocked or unsecured premesis.

We have partnered with Neighbourhood Watch NT to bring you “How safe is my place?” an online self-assessment tool founded on the internationally recognised, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles.

The self-assessment takes only 15 minutes to complete and you will receive an individualised report with practical home security improvement tips!
