Crime Victims Services Unit

Victims of serious offences in the Northern Territory who have sustained physical or mental injuries can apply for one-off financial assistance payments through the Crime Victims Services Unit. This is financial assistance from the NT Government to assist victims of crime in their recovery.

Witness Assistance Service

The Witness Assistance Service is a unit within the Director of Public Prosecutions and its primary role is to provide
support to victims of crime and witnesses who need to appear in Court to give evidence.

Community Justice Centre

The Community Justice Centre is a Northern Territory Government service that offers free dispute resolution services at
local venues across the Territory.

ACSC Cyber Safe

The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) leads the Australian Government’s efforts to improve cyber security. Their
role is to help make Australia the most secure place to connect online.

Jesuit Social Services

The Jesuit Social Services partner with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community
and go where help is needed most.

NHWNT use information from the Police and the community to develop and deliver safety resources that help
Territorians stay secure, become more connected and feel safer.
